It's been 10 years!

So the last time I saw my cousin, it was 10 years ago. We decided to maximize the time he was here with tattoos! The 1st night we did a snake and skull on his forearm which took 7 long hours. 3 days later we did a stork with the postal code of the hospital he born in here in Montreal. Oh, and a mustache on the finger of course.

Just recently finished my new business card and another sheet of flash. Also, the shop should be receiving new pins next week. Stay tuned for new t-shirts design by Pepe and myself.

Gabe(No Damn Good Skate park) sent me an image the other day and wanted to get it tattooed. Once I saw the image, I knew this was going on his hand. Re-drew it, put my twist on it and voila! Your life is now over!

Black Mass!!!!!!!

I finally finished her last night! The painting measures 12X20 inches. It seemed to take longer than expected though. The previous painting I did at this size, The Wizard didn't take nearly as long. We'll its done and ready to be shipped to its new owner.

Now I'm going to focus on finishing my new set of flash. Can't wait to finish them!
Also, I'm going to start a limited sheet of flash for St-Patrick's Day. I'm going to post the sheet in front of the shop and it will be first come, first serve kinda day. Pretty excited about that.

Busy, busy!

I've been keeping myself pretty with work, painting and snowboarding. So far, this winter has been great, new snow almost every morning. It always feels good to get out of the city and into the country woods. I went to Sutton last week and spent the entire day riding in the woods. The snow was deep, it was like a dream. Fresh tracks all day long!
So far, I've managed to complete 4 sheets of new flash. I'm really happy with the way they're turning out. However, I'm not sure how many I'm going to do, maybe I'll stop at 6? Here's a preview of the 4 so far.

Also got to tattoo a piece from my old set.

Other than that, just living life the way I chose.

Time for an update!

So, I've recently started a 2nd flash set. I'm really excited about it. The 2nd set has to do with being influenced by traditional tattoos and ancient symbolism. Already got to tattoo a piece from it as we'll! Here's the 1st sheet so far, and the tattoo.

Got to do some really fun tattoos lately. Tattooed my friend Christophes other hand. We did a skull on his right hand and this time a wizard. Really fun tattoo, and a great night as we'll.

Last night, tattooed Azls knee. It was a mandala based design which I created with a little twist. When designing this piece, I always saw it on a knee or elbow. Lucky enough, Azl had space on his knee and was excited about the design. Another fun tattoo, and great night!

Also, extremely good news! I received my Electric Wizard, Black Masses Die Hard Edition on vinyl. Simply amazing!

Finishing off 2010 the right way.

I woke up on the 31st and wanted to be productive. I wanted to finish 2010 with a final painting and solid tattoo, a great way to finish the year.
The painting was done in the morning and inspired by Big Ben. The tattoo was done from my flash card collection and is on Elodie. I was happy to have finished both and leave them in 2010.
As for 2011, I need to finish the set of flash that Joel and I started, and also the set Freako and I started.

Other plans for 2011 consist of getting more tattoos, snowboarding and skateboarding!!!!!

The wizard is complete!!!!!

So I've finally finished my smoking wizard(11X25 inches). It was originally for a tattoo but the individual backed out at the last moment. So, with some minor changes, it's done! I've been thinking about maybe using it for my new business card, but I've got another painting coming up. I guess I'll choose after.
